Ingredients
- Clear glass or plastic ornaments
- Acrylic paints (various colors)
- Water
- Container (for marbling)
- Toothpicks or skewers
- Gloves (optional)
- Newspaper or paper towels (to protect surfaces)
Instructions
- Prepare Your Workspace: Cover your work surface with newspapers or paper towels to catch any drips. Gather all materials within reach for easy access.
- Mix Your Paints: Pour a small amount of acrylic paint into separate containers. Add water to the paint to thin it out, creating a liquid consistency.
- Start Marbling: Fill a container with water, leaving some space at the top. Dip a toothpick into your paint and drizzle it on the water’s surface. Create swirling patterns by dragging the toothpick through the paint.
- Dip the Ornament: Carefully submerge your ornament into the water, ensuring paint adheres to it. Rotate the ornament gently to capture as much of the design as possible.
- Dry the Ornament: Remove the ornament from the water and let excess paint drip off. Place it upside down on a paper towel to dry completely.
- Display or Gift: Once dry, hang your mystically marbled ornament on your tree or wrap it as a gift!
