Description

A delightful mushroom elixir infused with powerful health benefits, rich in antioxidants that combat oxidative stress.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dried mushrooms (reishi, cordyceps, or lion’s mane)
  • 4 cups water
  • Optional: honey or agave syrup for sweetness
  • Optional: fresh herbs (like mint) or spices (like cinnamon) for flavor

Instructions

  1. Rinse the dried mushrooms under cool water and break them into smaller pieces.
  2. In a saucepan, bring four cups of water to a gentle boil.
  3. Add the prepared mushrooms to the boiling water, lower the heat to a simmer, and cover the saucepan. Let it simmer gently for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat, cool for a few minutes, then strain the liquid into a glass jar or bottle, pressing down on the mushrooms to extract as much liquid as possible.
  5. Taste the elixir; add honey or agave syrup for sweetness if desired, and consider infusing with fresh herbs or spices.

Notes

Store the elixir in the refrigerator for up to one week. If using fresh mushrooms, increase infusion time accordingly.
