Description

A fun and captivating slime recipe that creates gooey, stretchy monster slime perfect for sensory play!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon contact lens solution (containing boric acid)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Glitter (optional)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Stirring stick
  • Airtight container for storage

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, pour 1 cup of white school glue.
  2. Add 1 cup of water and stir well until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of baking soda into the glue mixture and stir thoroughly for even distribution.
  4. If you’d like, drop in a few drops of food coloring and stir for a lively hue. For extra sparkle, mix in some glitter.
  5. Slowly add 1 teaspoon of contact lens solution to the mixture, stirring continuously until it starts to clump and come together.
  6. Once it forms into a blob, knead it with your hands. Adjust the texture by adding more contact solution if it’s too sticky or more glue if it’s too runny.

Notes

Store your monster slime in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out. It’s not edible, so keep it out of reach of younger children.
