- 1 clean glass jar or bottle
- 2 tablespoons baking soda
- 1 cup vinegar
- Food coloring (any color)
- Washable paint (optional)
- Plastic funnel (optional)
- Tray or large dish
Instructions
- Place your glass jar in the center of a tray or large dish to catch overflow.
- Pour 2 tablespoons of baking soda into the jar.
- If using food coloring, add several drops into the jar with the baking soda.
- Using a funnel, slowly pour 1 cup of vinegar into the jar over the baking soda.
- Stand back and enjoy the explosive reaction as bubbles rise and overflow!
Notes
Experiment with different colors and add a teaspoon of dish soap for thicker bubbles. You can also add essential oils for a pleasant aroma!
