  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Food coloring (various colors)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of salt, and 2 teaspoons of cream of tartar.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of water, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, and a few drops of food coloring of your choice.
  3. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients while stirring with a spoon until combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a pot over medium heat and stir constantly until the dough thickens (about 3-5 minutes).
