Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ¾ cup warm water (110°F or 43°C)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Optional: seeds (sesame, poppy, etc.), herbs, or cheese for topping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar. Gradually mix in warm water and olive oil until a sticky dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Once risen, punch down the dough gently, divide it into 6-8 equal portions, and shape each piece into a mini loaf or desired shape.
- Arrange the shaped loaves on a baking sheet lined with parchment, cover loosely, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Optionally, brush with olive oil and sprinkle with seeds or herbs on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let the mini loaves cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Customize with herbs, cheese, or sweet flavors. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for a month.
