Description

Adorable and delicious milk chocolate stuffed cookies decorated as cheerful jack-o-lanterns, perfect for Halloween festivities.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • Orange icing (for decoration)
  • Black icing (for decoration)
  • Parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Scoop a tablespoon of dough and flatten it slightly. Place a teaspoon of milk chocolate chips in the center and cover with another tablespoon of dough. Shape into a ball and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  6. Once cooled, use orange icing to create jack-o-lantern faces on top of the cookies and black icing to add details like eyes and mouths.
