Ingredients
- Crayons (broken or whole, in various colors)
- Silicone mold or baking tray (shaped for sun catchers)
- Oven or heat gun
- Parchment paper (if using a baking tray)
- Paper towels (for cleanup)
- Optional: clear varnish spray (for extra shine)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) to prepare for melting the crayons.
- Peel the paper off the crayons to expose the colorful wax.
- Break the crayons into smaller pieces for easier melting.
- Place the crayon pieces in your silicone mold or baking tray.
- Mix and match colors for a fun swirl effect.
- Melt the mold or tray in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, keeping an eye on the melting process.
- Remove from the oven once the crayons are fully melted.
- Let the melted crayons cool completely until solid.
- Gently pop them out of the mold.
- Hang your sun catchers in a sunny window to enjoy the vibrant colors!
