Ingredients
- Assorted broken crayons (in fall colors)
- Silicone leaf mold
- Oven or hot plate (for melting)
- Baking sheet (if using an oven)
- Wax paper (for cooling)
- Optional: glitter or small embellishments
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
- Remove wrappers from broken crayons and chop them into small pieces (about 1-inch long).
- Arrange crayon pieces in the silicone leaf molds, mixing colors for a marbled effect or using single colors.
- For the oven method, place the molds on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes. For the hot plate method, carefully place the filled molds on the hot plate until melted.
- Remove from heat and let cool. For faster cooling, place molds in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
- Gently flex the silicone mold to release the ornaments.
- If desired, sprinkle glitter or attach ribbons to hang.
