Description

Create beautiful and colorful melted bead suncatchers that catch sunlight and add decorative charm to your windows.

Ingredients

  • Perler beads (or similar plastic beads)
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Oven (set at 400°F or 200°C)
  • Cookie cutter (optional for shapes)
  • Hanging string or suction cups for display

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Design your suncatcher by placing the beads on the parchment paper or inside a cookie cutter.
  4. Bake the beads for 10-15 minutes, watching closely to prevent over-melting.
  5. Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the beads cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  6. Detach the suncatcher from the parchment paper.
  7. Use string or suction cups to hang your suncatcher in a sunny spot.

Notes

Experiment with colors, shapes, and even mixed materials like glitter for added charm.
