Description

Create your own scented candles and fill your space with delightful fragrances while expressing your creativity.


Ingredients

  • Soy wax flakes (or beeswax)
  • Candle wicks
  • Fragrance oils (essential oils)
  • Candle dye (optional)
  • Heat-resistant container (glass jars or silicone molds)
  • Double boiler or microwave-safe container
  • Thermometer
  • Stirring stick or spoon
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace with all materials at hand and cover surfaces.
  2. Melt the wax using a double boiler or microwave method.
  3. Monitor the wax temperature aiming for 170-180°F (77-82°C).
  4. Add fragrance and color once melted and stir well.
  5. Secure the wick to the container using melted wax or wick stickers.
  6. Pour the melted wax carefully into the container, leaving space at the top.
  7. Cure the candle for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.
  8. Enjoy your candle by lighting it and indulging in the aromas!

Notes

Consider adding dried flowers or glitter for decoration. Trim the wick regularly to enhance burning quality.
