Description

A fun and edible playdough made from marshmallows, perfect for creative play sessions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup marshmallows (mini or regular)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable oil
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Flavoring extract (e.g., vanilla, peppermint; optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and materials. Ensure your workspace is clean.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine marshmallows and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and cornstarch.
  4. Pour the melted marshmallow mixture into the dry ingredients. Add food coloring or flavoring if using. Stir until it’s too thick to mix with a spoon, then knead with your hands.
  5. If the dough is sticky, add more powdered sugar until desired consistency is reached.
  6. Store the playdough in an airtight container to keep it soft and fresh.

Notes

Best kept as a crafting material rather than a snack. Store it properly to extend freshness.
