Create stunning marbled ornaments using a simple and therapeutic craft technique.
Ingredients
- Marbling paint (or acrylic paint)
- Shallow tray or basin
- Water
- Stir stick or skewer
- White cardstock or ornament blanks
- Gloves (optional)
- Table covering (for easy cleanup)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by laying down a table covering.
- Fill the tray with water, about 1-2 inches deep.
- Drip marbling paint onto the water’s surface using the applicator.
- Use a stir stick or skewer to swirl the colors together.
- Carefully lower your ornament blank onto the marbled surface for a few seconds.
- Gently lift your ornament out and allow excess paint to drip off, then place it on a drying rack or clean paper towel.
Notes
Experiment with color combinations for unique designs. For intricate patterns, dip multiple times in different colors.
