Description

An engaging craft project that encourages creativity and fine motor skills by creating a vibrant rain scene with paper raindrops and clouds.

Ingredients

  • Construction paper (blue, white, and any other colors of choice)
  • Scissors
  • Glue or tape
  • String or yarn
  • A hole punch (optional)
  • Markers or crayons (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare raindrops by cutting various sizes and shapes from the blue construction paper, adding details with markers or crayons if desired.
  2. Create a cloud by cutting a large shape from white construction paper and gluing/taping it onto a background paper or card.
  3. Cut long pieces of yarn if using, and create holes at the top of each raindrop with a hole punch. Thread the yarn through and knot securely.
  4. Attach the raindrops to the cloud and background using glue or tape, adjusting lengths of yarn for visual interest.
  5. Display your artwork using clips, washi tape, or pins in a special spot.

Notes

Customization can include using patterned paper, adding glitter, or making the clouds 3D with cotton balls. Perfect for enhancing learning about weather.
