- Protective workspace cover (like a plastic sheet)
- Optional: Color pigments or glitter for customization
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by laying down a plastic sheet to protect your surfaces and gathering all your materials within reach.
- Select and prepare flowers, choosing those that are fresh or dried but still vibrant and intact. Trim stems and leaves to fit your mold.
- Mix the resin by measuring equal parts of resin and hardener in a mixing cup and stirring thoroughly for about 3-5 minutes, ensuring no lumps remain. Add optional color pigments or glitter if desired.
- Pour a thin layer of mixed resin into your mold and gently place your prepared flowers into this layer, ensuring they are submerged.
- Add more resin gradually over the flowers, ensuring no air bubbles form. Use a blow torch or lighter gently to pop any bubbles.
- Allow the resin to cure as per the manufacturer’s instructions, typically 24-48 hours, and check for additional bubbles.
- Demold your keepsake carefully from the mold and polish or sand edges for a clean finish.
