Description

A fun and engaging craft project to create colorful, bouncy swirl balls at home, ideal for children and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Plastic wrap or zip-top bags
  • Baking sheet (for drying)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 1/4 cup of warm water. Stir well until smooth.
  2. Gradually add 1 cup of cornstarch to the glue mixture. Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Add drops of food coloring, mixing slightly for a swirl effect.
  4. Take a portion of the mixture and roll it into a ball shape with your hands.
  5. Place the formed balls on a baking sheet lined with plastic wrap or parchment paper.
  6. Allow them to dry for at least 24 hours in a cool, dry place.
  7. Once dry, bounce and enjoy your handmade swirl balls!

Notes

For a true swirl effect, add different colors in layers instead of mixing. Consider adding glitter or small beads for texture.
