Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Mixing bowl
  • Rolling pin
  • Star-shaped cookie cutter
  • Baking sheet
  • Oven

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  2. Gradually add water and vegetable oil, mixing until the dough starts to come together.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a clean surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and pliable.
  4. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  5. Press the cookie cutter into the rolled dough to create star shapes and place them onto a baking sheet.
  6. Preheat your oven to 200°F (90°C) and bake the stars for 2-3 hours until dry and hard.
  7. Allow the stars to cool completely, then decorate with paints or glitter.
