Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 1 cup water
  • Mixing bowl

  • Parchment paper (optional)

  • Clear sealant (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour with 1 cup of salt. Gradually add 1 cup of water while mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until smooth.
  2. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface using a rolling pin to your desired thickness (about 1/4 inch thick). Use cookie cutters to create shapes, and punch holes at the top for hanging.
  3. Place your shaped ornaments on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 2-3 hours until they are hard and dry. Let cool completely.
