Description

A delightful crafting project to make colorful suncatchers using melted green crayons, perfect for all skill levels.


Ingredients

  • Broken green crayons (various shades)
  • Cookie sheet or muffin tin
  • Parchment paper
  • Oven
  • Scissors
  • Transparent adhesive film or string (optional for hanging)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
  2. Gather your broken green crayons and peel off the wrappers.
  3. Chop the crayons into small pieces.
  4. Line a cookie sheet or muffin tin with parchment paper.
  5. Distribute the crayon pieces evenly in your molds.
  6. Place the tray in the oven and watch the crayons melt.
  7. Stir occasionally to blend colors.
  8. Once melted, remove the tray from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
  9. Gently pop the suncatchers out of the molds.
  10. If desired, trim any uneven edges and attach film or string for hanging.
