- 1/2 cup citric acid
- Food coloring (various colors)
- 1 tablespoon water
- Heart-shaped silicone mold
- Mixing bowl

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of citric acid. Stir until well combined.
- If using multiple colors, divide the dry mix into separate bowls and add food coloring to each. Mix thoroughly.
- Add 1 tablespoon of water to the colored mixture and stir quickly. The mixture should feel like damp sand.
- Pack the mixture firmly into the heart-shaped silicone mold.
- Let the hearts dry for at least 24 hours, then gently pop them out of the mold.
- Place a heart in a bowl and pour vinegar over it to watch it fizz!
Notes
Customize with seasonal colors or different essential oils for varied scents. Ensure the hearts are packed tightly and dried completely.
