Instructions
- Twist pipe cleaners into tree shapes, using brown for the trunk and green for the leaves.
- Boil 2 cups of water in a pot. Gradually add 1/2 cup of Borax while stirring until fully dissolved.
- If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to the Borax solution.
- Attach the tree structure to a pencil or stick and suspend it in the glass jar.
- Carefully pour the Borax solution into the jar, ensuring the tree is submerged.
- Place the jar in a cool, undisturbed area and wait 6-10 hours or overnight for crystals to form.
- Once formed, gently remove the tree and let it dry on a paper towel.
