Description

Create a magical snowy winter scene with this DIY project crafting a baking soda crystal snowman. A fun and educational activity for all ages!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of baking soda
  • 1/3 cup of vinegar
  • Pipe cleaners (for arms)
  • Googly eyes
  • Small buttons (optional)
  • Small carrot or paper cut-out for a nose
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Tray or plate for drying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda with 1/3 cup of vinegar. Watch it fizz!
  2. Once the fizzling subsides, mix until it forms a thick paste. Mold the mixture into three snowman shapes (large, medium, small).
  3. Gently attach googly eyes and buttons for decoration. Use pipe cleaners to create arms.
  4. Place your finished snowman on a tray or plate and let it dry for 24-48 hours.
