Ingredients

  • Whole milk (or any milk)
  • Food coloring (variety of colors)
  • Dish soap (liquid)
  • Shallow dish or tray
  • Cotton swabs or toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Find a flat surface and lay down some newspaper or paper towels to protect the area. Gather all your materials within reach.
  2. Pour the Milk: Pour a layer of milk into the shallow dish, filling it about an inch deep.
  3. Add Food Coloring: Drop several drops of food coloring in different spots on the milk surface.
  4. Introduce the Soap: Dip a cotton swab into the dish soap and then touch it to the surface of the milk.
  5. Experiment: Try using different colors, more soap, or moving the cotton swab around to create intricate designs. Add glitter or embellishments if desired.
