Description

A fun and engaging project to create vibrant and zesty lemonade slime, perfect for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh or bottled)
  • Yellow food coloring
  • 1 cup contact lens solution (contains boric acid)
  • Optional: Glitter or small beads for decoration

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace: Find a clean, flat surface to work on and gather all your materials and tools.
  2. Mix the base: In a bowl, pour 1 cup of white school glue and add 1 tablespoon of baking soda; mix thoroughly until there are no lumps.
  3. Add flavor and color: Pour in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and add a few drops of yellow food coloring, stirring until uniformly colored.
  4. Incorporate the activator: Gradually add 1 cup of contact lens solution, mixing continuously until the slime pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
  5. Knead and enjoy: Once the slime starts to form, take it out and knead it with your hands to enjoy the squishy, stretchy texture.

Notes

For variations, try adding glitter for a sparkling effect or different fruit juices for unique scents. Store slime in an airtight container.
