Description
A refreshing blend of floral lavender and zesty lemon, perfect for warm weather gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender (or 2 tablespoons fresh)
- 4 cups sparkling water
- Lemon slices, for garnish
- Lavender sprigs, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and dried lavender. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Once boiling, reduce heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool completely. Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl, discarding the lavender flowers.
- In a large pitcher, mix the lemon juice with the lavender syrup. Stir well to combine, adjusting the sweetness to your preference.
- Just before serving, pour in the sparkling water to create a fizzy effect. Stir gently to combine; avoid losing too much fizz.
- Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and lavender sprigs for a beautiful presentation.
Notes
Store leftover Lavender Lemonade Fizz in a sealed pitcher for up to 2 days. Combine the components just before serving for best results.
