Description

A refreshing blend of floral lavender and zesty lemon, perfect for warm weather gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender (or 2 tablespoons fresh)
  • 4 cups sparkling water
  • Lemon slices, for garnish
  • Lavender sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and dried lavender. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Once boiling, reduce heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool completely. Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl, discarding the lavender flowers.
  3. In a large pitcher, mix the lemon juice with the lavender syrup. Stir well to combine, adjusting the sweetness to your preference.
  4. Just before serving, pour in the sparkling water to create a fizzy effect. Stir gently to combine; avoid losing too much fizz.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and lavender sprigs for a beautiful presentation.

Notes

Store leftover Lavender Lemonade Fizz in a sealed pitcher for up to 2 days. Combine the components just before serving for best results.
