Description

Transform ordinary materials into a vibrant slice of watermelon art, perfect for summer decor.


Ingredients

  • Sticky craft sheet (adhesive side)
  • Pink construction paper (for the watermelon)
  • Black seeds (real, plastic, or cut out paper)
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Green construction paper (for the rind)
  • Optional: Glitter or markers for decoration

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by laying down newspaper or a plastic tablecloth.
  2. Cut pink construction paper into 1-inch squares and place them in front of you.
  3. Peel off the backing of the sticky sheet and arrange the pink squares to form the watermelon’s flesh.
  4. Scatter black seeds atop the pink squares and press them down gently.
  5. Cut long rectangles or triangles from the green paper for the rind and attach them around the edges of the sticky sheet.
  6. Add optional glitter or markers for decorative details.
