Ingredients
- Sticky craft sheet (adhesive side)
- Pink construction paper (for the watermelon)
- Black seeds (real, plastic, or cut out paper)
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Green construction paper (for the rind)
- Optional: Glitter or markers for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by laying down newspaper or a plastic tablecloth.
- Cut pink construction paper into 1-inch squares and place them in front of you.
- Peel off the backing of the sticky sheet and arrange the pink squares to form the watermelon’s flesh.
- Scatter black seeds atop the pink squares and press them down gently.
- Cut long rectangles or triangles from the green paper for the rind and attach them around the edges of the sticky sheet.
- Add optional glitter or markers for decorative details.
