Description

Delightful and vibrant jelly-like pops that mimic the enchanting underwater world, perfect for engaging kids in a fun, edible craft.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package flavored gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (optional)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup juice (blue raspberry, grape, or your choice)
  • Plastic molds (popsicle or silicone)
  • Small gummy sea creatures or edible decorations
  • Bowl and whisk for mixing
  • Measuring cups

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by clearing a countertop and gathering all your materials.
  2. Ensure your molds are clean and ready for use.
  3. Pour 1 cup of hot water into a bowl.
  4. Sprinkle 1 package of flavored gelatin and stir until fully dissolved.
  5. Add 1 cup of your chosen juice and mix well.
  6. For a jigglier texture, add a tablespoon of unflavored gelatin and mix thoroughly.
  7. Place a layer of gummy sea creatures at the bottom of each mold.
  8. Carefully pour the gelatin mixture over the gummies, filling each mold almost to the top.
  9. Chill the molds in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
  10. Run warm water on the outside of the molds to help release the pops.
  11. Enjoy! Carefully remove the jiggly aquarium pops from the molds and serve them chilled.

Notes

Feel free to customize flavors and add fruit for additional texture. For a fun twist, use tonic water for glowing pops under blacklight.
