Description

Create a delightful jellyfish suncatcher that adds vibrant colors and reflections to your space, perfect for both kids and adults.

Ingredients

  • Clear plastic or clear contact paper
  • Tissue paper in various colors
  • Scissors
  • String or fishing line
  • Hole punch
  • Small beads (optional)
  • A flat surface for assembly

Instructions

  1. Cut a piece of clear plastic or contact paper to your desired jellyfish size, about 6 inches in diameter.
  2. Cut strips of tissue paper, about 1/2 inch wide, in colors of your choice.
  3. Lay the tissue paper strips on the clear base to mimic jellyfish tentacles, overlapping and layering for a vibrant look.
  4. If using contact paper, place another sheet over the top to seal the design; if using plastic, lightly glue the tissue paper down.
  5. Create a hole at the top center of your jellyfish base for hanging using a hole punch.
  6. Cut a piece of string or fishing line to your desired length, thread it through the hole, and tie a knot.
  7. Optionally, thread small beads onto the string before knotting it for hanging.

Notes

Experiment with different colors and sizes for unique designs. Consider making several jellyfish for a family effect.
