Description
Create a delightful jellyfish suncatcher that adds vibrant colors and reflections to your space, perfect for both kids and adults.
Ingredients
- Clear plastic or clear contact paper
- Tissue paper in various colors
- Scissors
- String or fishing line
- Hole punch
- Small beads (optional)
- A flat surface for assembly
Instructions
- Cut a piece of clear plastic or contact paper to your desired jellyfish size, about 6 inches in diameter.
- Cut strips of tissue paper, about 1/2 inch wide, in colors of your choice.
- Lay the tissue paper strips on the clear base to mimic jellyfish tentacles, overlapping and layering for a vibrant look.
- If using contact paper, place another sheet over the top to seal the design; if using plastic, lightly glue the tissue paper down.
- Create a hole at the top center of your jellyfish base for hanging using a hole punch.
- Cut a piece of string or fishing line to your desired length, thread it through the hole, and tie a knot.
- Optionally, thread small beads onto the string before knotting it for hanging.
