Description

Create stunning, colorful jellyfish suncatchers that brighten up your windows and inspire creativity.

Ingredients

  • Clear plastic lids (like yogurt containers)
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Colorful tissue paper
  • Scissors
  • String or fishing line
  • Paint (optional)
  • Paintbrush (optional)
  • Iridescent glitter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your plastic lids by cleaning them thoroughly and removing any labels.
  2. Create jellyfish tentacles by cutting long strips of colorful tissue paper, about 1 to 2 inches wide.
  3. Assemble your jellyfish by applying glue to the edge of the plastic lid and attaching tissue paper strips.
  4. Add individuality by painting designs on the upper side of the lid if desired.
  5. Add the hanging mechanism by creating a loop with string or fishing line and securing it with glue.
  6. Hang your jellyfish suncatcher in a sunny window and enjoy.

Notes

Consider using different materials for tentacles and experimenting with various shapes for the lids. Use adhesive hooks for hanging without damaging windows.
