Description

Delightful cake pops presented in ice cream cones, combining fun and creativity with a deliciously moist cake center.

Ingredients

  • Cake mix (any flavor)
  • Eggs (as per cake mix instructions)
  • Vegetable oil (as per cake mix instructions)
  • Water (as per cake mix instructions)
  • Ice cream cones (wafer or cake cones)
  • Frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • Chocolate melting wafers (white, milk, or dark chocolate)
  • Sprinkles (various colors and shapes)
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Styrofoam block (for drying)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, oil, and water. Mix until smooth, then pour the batter into a greased cake pan. Bake for the time indicated on the box, then allow it to cool completely.
  3. Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large bowl using your hands. Add a few tablespoons of frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until it holds together but is not overly wet.
  4. Use a small scoop or your hands to form bite-sized balls of the cake mixture. Insert a lollipop stick into each ball, then place them in the fridge for about 30 minutes to set.
  5. Melt the chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Dip the cake pops into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  6. Place the dipped cake pops into ice cream cones. Immediately decorate with sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
  7. Stick the cones into a Styrofoam block to help them stand upright while the chocolate hardens completely.

Notes

Experiment with different flavors and toppings for creative variations. Store in an airtight container for freshness.
