A fun and refreshing way to create colorful art outdoors using ice and sidewalk chalk ingredients.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups of water
- 2 cups of cornstarch
- Food coloring (various colors)
- Silicone molds (ice cube trays or any fun shapes)
- Mixing bowl
- Spoon or whisk
- Muffin tin (optional for larger shapes)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of water and 2 cups of cornstarch and stir well.
- Divide the mixture into different bowls and add food coloring to each, stirring until desired shades are achieved.
- Carefully pour the colored mixtures into the molds and leave some space at the top.
- Freeze the molds for at least 240-360 minutes or until solid.
- Once frozen, pop the ice chalk out of the molds and take it outside to create art.
Notes
Experiment with color mixing and create different shapes with various molds. Safe and easy cleanup with water.
