Festive and flavorful stuffed mini bell peppers perfect for patriotic holidays like the Fourth of July.
Ingredients
- Mini bell peppers (red, white, and blue varieties)
- Cream cheese (8 oz)
- Shredded cheddar cheese (1 cup)
- Garlic powder (1 tsp)
- Onion powder (1 tsp)
- Paprika (1 tsp)
- Fresh parsley (finely chopped, 2 tbsp)
- Olive oil (for drizzling)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Optional: bacon bits, chopped jalapeños, or any favorite add-ins
Instructions
- Wash and slice mini bell peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until smooth. Optional: fold in bacon bits or jalapeños.
- Spoon the filling into each half of the prepared bell peppers.
- Lightly drizzle olive oil over the stuffed peppers.
- Place peppers on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until tender and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
