Description

Make your own bouncy balls using simple materials. A fun and educational craft for all ages!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon of white school glue
  • 1 teaspoon of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of borax powder
  • 1 tablespoon of corn starch
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Spoon for mixing
  • Wax paper or parchment paper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of borax powder with 1/2 cup of warm water. Stir until fully dissolved.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of white school glue with 1 teaspoon of water. Add a few drops of food coloring if desired and mix well.
  3. Stir in 1 tablespoon of corn starch to the glue mixture and mix thoroughly until a thick paste forms.
  4. Slowly pour the borax solution into the glue mixture, watching it clump together.
  5. Take it out and knead it with your hands until smooth and firm.
  6. Shape the mixture into a ball and place it on wax paper or parchment paper to dry for at least 20 minutes.
  7. Once set, test the bounce of your new bouncy ball!

Notes

Experiment with different colors, sizes, and materials. Consider using glitter for extra fun!
