Description

A fun and educational DIY project for all ages, creating colorful and customizable bouncy balls using simple household materials.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon white school glue
  • 1/2 teaspoon water
  • 1/4 teaspoon borax
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • A small bowl for mixing
  • Wax paper or a clean surface

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, blend 1/2 teaspoon of borax with 2 tablespoons of warm water until fully dissolved.
  2. In another bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of white school glue and 1 tablespoon of corn starch, then add 1 tablespoon of water and mix until smooth.
  3. If desired, add food coloring and stir to distribute evenly.
  4. Slowly add the borax solution to the glue mixture, watching for clumps to form.
  5. Once too thick to stir, knead the mixture with your hands, adding a pinch of corn starch if too sticky.
  6. Shape the mixture into a ball size of a marble or larger.
  7. Place the ball on wax paper and let it dry for a few hours.

Notes

Experiment with different sizes and colors, and consider using clear glue or adding glitter for variations.
