Description
A fun and spooky project for Halloween, creating a Jack O’ Lantern with candy corn teeth that doubles as a sweet treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium-sized pumpkin
- 1 bag of candy corn (about 10–12 oz)
- Pumpkin carving kit (knife, scoop, etc.)
- Black marker or pen
- Tea light or LED candle (for illumination)
Instructions
- Choose your pumpkin: Select a medium-sized pumpkin that feels heavy for its size.
- Clean the pumpkin: Use a damp cloth to wipe the pumpkin clean. Cut off the top with a carving knife.
- Scoop out the insides: Use the scoop to remove seeds and pulp, scraping the walls until smooth.
- Draw your design: Sketch out the face you want to carve with a black marker.
- Carve the pumpkin: Carefully carve along the lines with your knife.
- Add the candy corn teeth: Insert pieces of candy corn into the mouth opening.
- Add lighting: Place a tea light or LED candle inside the pumpkin and replace the lid.
Notes
Customize the teeth with gummy worms or chocolate pieces. Protect your pumpkin from the elements with petroleum jelly.
