Description
A fun and educational craft that combines creativity with basic science concepts, perfect for Halloween celebrations.
Ingredients
- Plastic bottles (empty soda or water bottles)
- White tissue paper or plastic bags
- Black marker or paint
- Tape or glue
- Scissors
- Optional: Glow sticks for added spookiness
- Rocket launcher (can be homemade or purchased)
Instructions
- Prepare Your Bottles: Remove labels from the plastic bottles and wash them thoroughly. Once dry, these will act as the body of your ghost rockets.
- Create Ghost Designs: Use scissors to cut tissue paper or plastic bags into ghostly shapes. Each ghost should have a flowing, draped appearance. Draw spooky faces using a black marker or paint.
- Secure the Ghosts: Use tape or glue to attach the ghostly tissue paper or bags to the top of the plastic bottle. Ensure it’s snug and will catch the wind as the rocket launches.
- Launch Your Rockets: If using a homemade launcher, align the bottle with the launcher base and prepare for lift-off. For a fun effect, place glow sticks inside the bottle before launch. Pull the launch string or mechanism to send your ghost rockets soaring into the sky!
Notes
Customize colors and effects for your ghost rockets. Ensure adult supervision when using scissors.
