- 1 cup of cornstarch
- 1 cup of water
- 2 tablespoons of corn syrup
- Food coloring (optional)
- Wax paper
- A saucepan
- A spoon for stirring
- Cookie cutters (optional)

Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the cornstarch and water, stirring until smooth.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and continuously stir for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
- Once gel-like, remove from heat and add corn syrup, stirring for another minute.
- If desired, mix in food coloring until evenly distributed.
- Spread the mixture on wax paper to form desired shapes and thickness, using cookie cutters if desired.
- Allow to dry for 24-48 hours in a warm, dry place, then peel off the wax paper.
- Hang your suncatchers in a sunny window to enjoy the beautiful designs.
