Description
A fun and simple winter craft for making adorable popsicle stick snowmen that encourages creativity and fine motor skills.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 popsicle sticks
- White paint or white craft glue
- Orange construction paper (for the carrot nose)
- Black marker or buttons (for eyes and mouth)
- Fabric scraps (for scarf and hat)
- Glue (hot glue or craft glue)
- Scissors
- Paintbrush (if using paint)
Instructions
- Take three popsicle sticks and lay them vertically, one on top of the other. Secure them together using glue at the ends to form the snowman’s body.
- Once the glue is dry, paint the entire assembly with white paint or apply white craft glue and sprinkle with white glitter for a sparkly effect. Allow the paint/glue to dry completely.
- Cut out small circles from black construction paper or use buttons for the eyes and mouth. Use a black marker or glue on the eyes and mouth onto the top popsicle stick.
- Cut a small triangle from the orange construction paper. Glue it on as the carrot nose.
- Cut a strip from fabric scraps and wrap it around the snowman for a scarf. For the hat, use more fabric or paper, shaping it as desired, and glue it to the top of the snowman’s head.
- Add any additional decorations, like painted cheeks, glitter, or extra embellishments to personalize your snowman. Let everything dry completely before displaying your popsicle stick snowman.
