Ingredients
- Clear plastic lids or sheets (from takeout containers or recycling)
- Gelatin (clear or colored)
- Food coloring (optional)
- Scissors
- String or fishing line
- Hole punch
- Paintbrush (optional for detailing)
- Googly eyes (for added character)
- Glitter (for a sparkling effect, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the gelatin according to package instructions and add food coloring if desired.
- Pour gelatin into molds made from plastic lids, filling halfway.
- Add texture with a paintbrush or sprinkle glitter before gelatin sets.
- Insert lengths of string or fishing line for tentacles.
- Refrigerate molds until gelatin is completely firm.
- Resume jellyfish shapes from molds and add googly eyes.
- Punch holes at the top of each jellyfish for hanging.
- Choose a window to hang your jellyfish and admire the display.
