Description

Delightful homemade gummy bears that are customizable, healthier, and free from preservatives, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fruit juice (your choice)
  • 3 tablespoons gelatin (or vegan gelatin alternative)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (or to taste)
  • Cooking spray or oil (for molds)
  • Gummy bear molds (silicone recommended)

Instructions

  1. Coat the molds lightly with cooking spray or oil.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of fruit juice and sprinkle the gelatin over it. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
  3. Place the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin fully dissolves (about 5 minutes). Avoid boiling.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in honey or agave syrup until fully combined.
  5. Carefully pour the gummy mixture into the prepared molds, filling each cavity.
  6. Refrigerate for about 30-60 minutes, or until gummies are firm and set.
  7. Gently pop the gummy bears out of the molds and store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

Experiment with different fruit juices and add-ins for varied flavors. Adjust sweetness based on your preference.
