Description

Learn how to create beautiful flower suncatchers to brighten up your living space using real flowers and contact paper or gel medium.

Ingredients

  • Fresh or dried flowers (petals, leaves)
  • Clear transparent contact paper or gel medium
  • Scissors
  • String or ribbon (for hanging)
  • A paper plate or a flat surface for arranging
  • A sponge brush (if using gel medium)
  • Optional: Glitter, beads, or other embellishments

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace by clearing off a flat surface and gathering all materials. Lay down a paper plate for arranging your flowers.
  2. Arrange the Flowers by choosing your favorite flowers and cutting them into desired shapes. Lay them on the contact paper or gel medium, creating your desired design.
  3. Seal Your Design by carefully placing another piece of contact paper on top or applying a layer of gel medium on top of the flowers.
  4. Trim and Hang by trimming any excess material around the edges and using string or ribbon to create a loop for hanging.
  5. Display your suncatcher in a sunny spot and enjoy the light filtering through.

Notes

Use different flower colors for customization and to match your decor. Seasonal themes can add a fresh look year-round.
