Description

A simple and cost-effective recipe for creating your own homemade bubble solution, perfect for fun outdoor activities.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dish soap (preferably clear, non-toxic)
  • 1 cup distilled water
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup (or glycerin)
  • A mixing bowl
  • A whisk or spoon
  • A storage container (jar or bottle)
  • Bubble wands or DIY bubble blowers (like straws)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your materials in a clean, well-lit space.
  2. Pour 1 cup of water into the mixing bowl.
  3. Add 1 cup of dish soap and gently stir to avoid creating too many suds.
  4. Slowly add 1 tablespoon of corn syrup, stirring gently until fully combined.
  5. Pour the bubble solution into a storage container and let it sit for a few hours or overnight.
  6. Dip your bubble wand into the solution, lift it out slowly, and gently blow to create bubbles.

Notes

For colorful bubbles, add a few drops of food coloring. Experiment with corn syrup for different bubble sizes and consider using essential oils for scented bubbles.
