- 1 cup kiwi puree (fresh or canned)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons agar-agar powder or gelatin
- Candied sugar (optional, for coating)
Instructions
- Prepare the Kiwi Puree: Peel and chop fresh kiwis, blend until smooth, and strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds if desired.
- Combine the Ingredients: In a saucepan, mix the kiwi puree, lemon juice, honey, and water. Sprinkle agar-agar or gelatin over the mixture and let it hydrate for about 5 minutes.
- Heat the Mixture: Gently heat the mixture over low-medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes until thickened.
- Set the Gummies: Pour the mixture into silicone molds and refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until fully set.
- Demolding and Coating: Carefully remove the gummies from the molds and coat lightly in candied sugar if desired.
