Description

Make your own glowing putty that’s perfect for sensory play and creative projects.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 23 tablespoons glowing pigment (glow powder)
  • 1 teaspoon contact lens solution (containing boric acid)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Mixing spoon
  • Airtight container for storage

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 1 cup of water. Stir well until completely blended.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and mix thoroughly.
  3. Slowly stir in 2-3 tablespoons of glowing pigment until evenly distributed.
  4. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix until you achieve your preferred hue.
  5. Slowly pour in 1 teaspoon of contact lens solution while mixing continuously.
  6. Take the putty out of the bowl and knead it with your hands until smooth and elastic.

Notes

Customize colors and glow levels; store in an airtight container to keep fresh.
