Description

An engaging craft to create vibrant glowing bottles for parties and events using glow sticks and plastic bottles.

Ingredients

  • Empty plastic bottles (water or soda bottles)
  • Glow sticks (various colors)
  • Water
  • Funnel (optional)
  • Scissors (to cut glow sticks if needed)
  • Decorations (glitter, stickers, etc. optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the empty plastic bottles. If desired, remove labels to create a clean look.
  2. Snap the glow sticks to activate them. Shake gently to ensure the glow is even.
  3. If using long glow sticks, carefully cut them open and pour the contents into the bottles using a funnel. For shorter glow sticks, simply drop them into the bottles.
  4. Fill the bottles with water, leaving some space at the top to diffuse the glow.
  5. Secure the bottle caps tightly. Optionally, tape the caps to prevent leakage.
  6. Use glitter or stickers to decorate the outside of the bottles.
  7. Place your glowing bottles in a dark area or outdoor setting to showcase their full effect.

Notes

Experiment with different bottle sizes and color themes for various effects. Remember, glow sticks fade over time, so use fresh ones for the best display.
