Description

Create a stunning display with this DIY craft project that showcases glowing fireworks using simple household materials.

Ingredients

  • Clear glass jar with a lid
  • Water
  • Vegetable oil
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Flashlight or LED tea light
  • Optional: glitter for added sparkle

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the glass jar thoroughly. Fill it about three-quarters full with water.
  2. Carefully pour vegetable oil into the jar until it reaches the top.
  3. Drop in different colors of food coloring to create your fireworks.
  4. If desired, add glitter for extra sparkle. Seal the jar with its lid and place a flashlight or LED tea light underneath.
  5. Turn off the lights and watch your glowing fireworks come to life!
  6. Gently shake the jar for a swirling effect.

Notes

Experiment with different food coloring combinations or use a clear vase instead of a jar. Adding essential oils can also enhance the experience with pleasant fragrances.
