Create enchanting glowing fireflies using simple materials—a delightful craft to inspire creativity and imagination in children.
Ingredients
- Clear plastic bottles (empty)
- Glow-in-the-dark paint or glow sticks
- LED tea lights (optional for added glow)
- Soft paintbrush or sponge
- Scissors
- Colored tissue paper (for wings)
- Glue or tape
- Black marker (for faces)
Instructions
- Wash and dry the empty plastic bottles, removing any labels.
- Apply glow-in-the-dark paint on the inside of the bottle using a brush or sponge, allowing it to dry thoroughly.
- Cut out wing shapes from colored tissue paper in various sizes and colors.
- Flip the bottle upside down and attach the tissue paper wings using glue or tape.
- Draw a cute face on the bottom part of the bottle with a black marker.
- For added lighting, place an LED tea light inside the bottle and enjoy the glow when the lights are off.
