Description
Create spooky glowing ghosts using simple materials to enhance your Halloween decor.
Ingredients
- Coffee filters (white)
- Glow-in-the-dark paint or glow sticks
- Permanant markers (black, for faces)
- Twine or string (for hanging)
- Scissors
- Small LED tea lights (optional)
Instructions
- Take one coffee filter and gently flatten it out on a clean surface.
- If using glow paint, dip your fingers into it and splatter small amounts onto the filter for an eerie effect. Allow it to dry completely. Alternatively, place a glow stick inside the filter for instant glow.
- Once the coffee filter is dry, gather the center of the filter and pinch it slightly to create a ‘head.’
- Use a piece of twine or string to tie off the pinched section tightly, creating the ghost’s neck.
- Use permanent markers to draw spooky or silly faces on the ghost to add personality.
- If you want your ghost to glow, either place an LED tea light underneath or turn off the lights for an enchanting reveal if using glow paint.
- Hang your ghostly creations around the house, drape them over furniture, or place them in your yard.
