Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup of water
- 2 tablespoons of dish soap
- 1 tablespoon of corn syrup
- Highlighter (yellow or green)
- Blacklight
- Bubble wand or pipe cleaners
- Optional: a small container for mixing
Instructions
- In a small container, combine 1 cup of water with 2 tablespoons of dish soap.
- Add in 1 tablespoon of corn syrup and mix.
- Carefully remove the felt insert from the highlighter and soak it in the bubble mixture for 10-15 minutes.
- Stir the mixture gently to combine ingredients.
- Dip your bubble wand or pipe cleaner into the mixture and blow gently to create bubbles.
- Turn on the blacklight in a darkened area to see the bubbles glow.
Notes
Experiment with different colored highlighters for various glow effects and adjust the corn syrup for bubble durability.
