Description

A nostalgic Maple Pecan Pie that blends sweet maple syrup and crunchy pecans, perfect for autumn gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan, crimp the edges, and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Fold the pecan halves into the syrup mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly puffed, with a golden top.
  6. Allow the pie to cool for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the filling to firm up.

Notes

For nut allergies, swap pecans for walnuts or omit nuts for a creamy maple custard pie. Adjust sweetness by reducing brown sugar or add spices for more flavor.
